  Using Resolve 11 Lite for MXF Transcodes. Keeping tape name.

  Hey there,

  I sometimes have to use Resolve to transcode raw camera footage to DNX MXF files for offline editing in Avid. When I do, I find that the tape name/source name columns are empty when I view the clips in Avid. How do I make sure to keep the tape name/source name when I’m transcoding to MXF?

  Make sure these settings are set as seen in the screenshot before transcoding to MXF/DNxHD.

  Thanks! I’ve seen other resolve transcode setups that had ‘Source clip file pathname’ checked instead with ‘*/%R.*’ put in the pattern field.

  Whats the difference between the two options?
