Avid Symphony 6 Reinstall – do I need to uninstall first?
Just double checking. I would like to reinstall Symphony 6. I have my disk, license card, etc. Im reinstalling on the exact same system. Do I have to uninstall first or can I just reinstall? The instructions from Avid are unclear. They only mention uninstalling when changing systems. In that case, they also mention deactivating the license.
I would love to just reinstall and call it a day. Opinions?

In all versions previous to 8.x, it was recommended to uninstall first. There were a few times I did not, and it seemed fine, gut for the extra 5 minutes it takes, why not?
