  MC 6.5.4.2 and Mac OS 10.9.5

  Anyone tried this yet?

  My iMac is in the shop and was upgraded from 10.9.4 without asking me first.

  There is a difference between “will it work” and “is it supported”? From the Avid Version matrix for OS X support for 6.5.4.2:

  Lion 10.7.4 – 10.7.5, Mtn Lion 10.8.2 – 10.8.4
  Mavericks 10.9, 10.9.1 (with the 6.5.4.1 patch) 10.9.2 (with 6.5.4.2 patch)

  So it “may” just work, or something may just stop. Perhaps others have had experience.

  Yup.

  I was using it on 10.9.4 with no issues, yet that is not currently supported, I did check that Matrix this morning too.

  Get the shop to fix what they broke.
  No reason to update the OS without your ok.
