How to fix many subtitles after already creating them within Avid with Subcap?
Hello,
I was told to try and use the Subcap effect to change all the many many subtitles I have in a timeline. The tutorials I saw say to throw it in a filler in your timeline, make the properties you want, apply it to track in the synchronize tab, then import your subtitles file that you can alter afterwards if needed.
The problem is that I created all those titles within Avid and do not have a subtitles file that someone created for me. I tired throwing the effect in a filler in the sequence and it would not recognize that there are titles in the layer above or below it to change. I tried changing the sycnrhonize to Sequence and Clips and still nothing!
Any ideas? Maybe export the subtitles layer as a subtitles file from Avid, in which I would not know how to do either…Help!
