Is there a keyboard shortcut that will move an existing locator from one point to another? Im trying to avoid going into the marker window and manually entering the new TC

For example, I prematurely set a marker at 1:00:00:00 but actually want it at 1:00:04:12. In FCP 7 I could just place my cursor at that new location and hit Shift+` and the marker would jump forward to that new location.

I know MC can span markers across a particular duration so I assume there must be a way to do this as well.

    Thanks in advance.

I believe you can move the mark by pressing the Alt key.

Tried that. Didn’t work. Any other ideas?

You need to move the markers in the composer window using “alt-drag” as opposed to the timeline window.

I’m sure you figured that out ages ago, but for the benefit of others reading this thread.
