Bring in an animated ‘loader’ .gif file (transparently) to AE?
Alright, i know it doesn’t work to put in animated .gif files with transparently to After Effects.
It will be white background when doing it.
Have been trying to key it out, but its not working. So my only idea that’s left is also to make them all to still images, to PNG files with transparently.
I also want this loader, to be animated in After Effects, same time and speed if possible.
https://i42.tinypic.com/k9go6p.gifWhat i done so far was to open it with ImageReady, get it over to PhotoShop where i saved all the 31 frames/imges by hand, took around 5 min.
Problary any free software that can handle this in 1 secound? If so, would be fun to have next time i need this.So the next step, i haven’t done for the reason i don’t have any idea how i can get 1,5 frames in After Effects.
i’ll also know how many frames i’ll be needing for this.
Because its 31 frames and each frame is 0,05 secounds long, i’ve count it out already“I got also 31 images from the loader which should be 0,05 secounds each.
So i made 31 images * 0,05 secounds = 1,55 secoundsAnd then to see how many frames 1,55 secounds should be.
I take 29,97 * 1,55 secounds = 46,4535So also, like 46 frames?
Or if i take 30 * 1,55 secounds = which is 46,5So i need an half frame to make it perfect great?
Anyway, also need get out how much 1 image will have in frames
46 / 31 = 1,5 (around that)
So 1 and a half frame.. how i get a half frame?” – from my thread at VC.But after this one, even if i would figure this out, maybee make it to 1 or 2, which will be 50% faster or 50% slower than the original.
It will take alot of time to place these out, in the right place in timeline.
Will have to slice them all by hand.Wonder if there’s any shortcut there too or something.
Here’s the whole thing, also the 31 images, a PSD file (with all the 31 imagelayers and frames (PS CS2) and the .gif file (that also are above in this thread).
