I’m getting a pretty irritating error currently.
    AMD_COREAUDIO_FAILED_TO_SET_SAMP_RATE

I’m going out to a client monitor, but AVID can’t seem to get it through it’s thick head to play anything while I’m plugged into the monitor.

If I boot up AVID and then plug in the monitor, then I can play audio but not get any video signal…this is stupid.

I know it’s not my black magic device because client monitoring works in every other freaking program.

Every time I hit play I get that error ( making it impossible to watch down anything ).
    HELP!

Do you have the most current drivers for that unit installed? What version of Avid are you running?

dont use the most current drivers.. 10.0 and even 10.1 are screwed for Media Composer .

Desktop video 9.9.3 is the best working driver blackmagic has put out. download that one and you should be good to go.

Thank you very much. Black magic just sent me a very similar email!

I’m glad it’s something this simple. I spent all day doing PRAM and preference resets.
