  Both fields in Pause/Stop

  Searched but couldn’t find the answer to the old question (I’ve been away from MC for some years) can Media Composer output both fields when stopped?
  I’m on MC 7.0.3 with a Blackmagic Decklink 4K Extreme. Doing 1080i50 Projects.

  I am not 100% sure, but I don’t believe that feature was ever added. Perhaps others know better as I am rarely, if ever in an interlace project so am more than willing to be wrong. 🙂

  The only thing I remember is the ability to do field-stepping which is available as a button control and can be mapped to the keyboard.

  IMHO, if you are a finishing editor of any kind, working on interlaced projects, it SHOULD be mapped to your keyboard. I constantly find field 2 flash fields in the work handed to me by other editors, and those two keys are very very helpful.

  I have them mapped to Shifted A and Shifted S.
