Smooth Cut
Hey Folks,
I heard an editor mention this on a podcast but failed to write it down. I am looking for an effect or transition that smooths a cut so it does not look like a cut in a sequence with a talking head.
I got nothing from the crap that is still called Google and did not find it in my Effects list. I have MC 7.0.3 w/Symphony.

I think you’re talking about Fluid Morph, it’s in the Effects Palette under “Illusion FX”

Very good, thanks. Mine is going to take some fiddling unfortunately but I will come back to it later. This is my own exercise as I wanted to see if I could make my vidcast run through presentable. Need to get better at all of this editing stuff.
Who is the editor giving the tutorial?

I was just reading this and it sounds really cool. Is it available on 5.5.3? If not, where do I get it or do I upgrade to 6.5.x—current?

Fluid Morph has been available at least since MC3, if not since the previous incarnations.
