I’m currently working on a project where I’ve been asked to use a .jpg file for rolling credits. I have converted it to a .tiff file and put it into the timeline and it appears in the composer window just fine, however every time I apply the Matte Key effect to the image it just disappears. When I open the Effect Editor it still gives me options as though there is an image there to work with, problem being is that all I’m adjusting is a black box.
I tried doing the animation I wanted anyway and hoped it might miraculously show up in playback, but no such luck.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to rectify it?

    Cheers
