I’m currently editing parts of a show in Australia on MC7 on a laptop using a variety of XDCAM, F5, P2 and GoPros.

The rest of the show is being cut in our main edit suites in the UK.

We both have copies of the all the original footage.

Re-linking the XDCAM clips is fine.

My query is that the F5 has shot some stuff at 120fps which has to AMA’d. Again the AMA’s relink fine. The issue is that in order to apply speed effects to bring the 120fps stuff up to normal speed I have to transcode the AMA. I don’t want to transcode entire clips if possible so I’m hoping that AVID is insanely clever and when the Edit bin and sequence are sent to and opened in the UK suites it will magically know to create the same transcoded clips…

…unlikely I know. Can anyone help me out with the best workflow to keep things a simple as possible?

Thanks (and apologies if this is a really dim post)
