I have a project that keeps crashing in Windows XP SP3, but cruises along fine on a MacPro with 10.5.6 on it. Both are running 9.0.2 with Knoll Light Factory and Trapcode suite installed.

I have uninstalled the plugins and still crash. Re-installed the application too.

Windows box – HP XW 8400, XP SP3, 4 GB RAM, Nvidia QuadroFX 1500
Mac Pro – Dual 3.2, OS 10.5.8, 4 GB RAM, NVIDIA GForce 8800GT

There is a disparity in the gfx card specs, but other projects on the XP box are totally fine. It definitely seems to be something local to this project that freaks out the Windows side but is A-OK on Mac. What could be some other contributing factors and is there anyway to view a crash log or something on AE for Windows? Thanks in advance!

also the knoll effects can be set to use the gpu, check and see if that is off on both machines (i believe that setting is independent of ae’s opengl acceleration setting)
