  Finding original clip from AAF

  Hi,

  I have an AAF sequence that has been imported and is now linked to media in a project. When I match frame a clip and try to reveal bin it always reveals the reference file in the AAF seq bin, not the original media.

  If I find the bin with the original media and have it open when I match frame and reveal bin, it recognises the original clip. But once the bin is closed it reverts back to revealing the AAF bin with the reference clips.

  Is there any way of it opening the original media bin from the AAF sequence?

  Most likely due to the fact it doesn’t know the whereabouts of the clip itself, only the essence. You could try a relink to selected from all the open bins that contain the media to force that link.
