    Hi guys!
I’ve found an old HD with an OMFI folder of a family movie we did 10 years ago. i thought i’ve deleted everything by mistake but apparently i have some of it left. i used the media tool to open the media files and copy them to a new project but it looks like there are a lot of source files and not a lot of media files. is there a way to recreate the media if i have the .omf files?

    Thanks a lot!
    Shahar

How do you differentiate Source file from Media files? If you were able to see these files in the MediaTool, that is what is on the drive – perhaps these are render files? A little better definition might help.

Sorry! i mixed up media files and source files.

In the media tool i could see a lot of media files but i couldn’t copy them to the bin because they didn’t have a source file. but (silly me) i was able to just import the .omf media files into the bin.

    sorry for the junk thread.
