Avid FX: how to add filler to the *front* of the FX timeline ???
In MC, we can add filler to the front of a timeline clip, in selectable amounts of time. Or add time to the end of the MC timeline and then likewise extend the clip.
In FX, it then shows the new extended clip length with FX keyframes proportionally expanded. And we know that the FX Options tab has a setting for “Keep Keyframe Time;” this setting does not proportionally expand keyframes, but simply adds new MC clip time to the END of the FX timeline.
But I would like to keep the keyframe time as it is, not proportionally expanded, and have the time added to the *front* of the FX timeline.
Possible???
Perhaps a two-step solution, such as adding time to the end as above, but then *somehow* moving all the keyframes to the right???
Thanks for a great forum!
Mike
