We are capturing media from tape – HDCam SR and Digi Beta using Nitris DX boxes into MC7 with Symphony on Mac 10.8.4. In MC, our audio waveforms look as you would expect, but on export – reference QT, self-contained QT, WAV – the channels are reversed. 1-4 becomes 4-1, 1-12 becomes 12-1. This only happens with captured media. Imported media works fine. We have had these systems for several months now and this issue just started, at the same time, on 3 different systems. We have a third capture-only station – same computer specs but running on a Kona 3 card – same thing happening there as well. We are using shared storage on Terrablock 5.7.7. Nothing has been updated recently. I tried updating one system to 7.0.2 but no change.

If anybody has any insight into this it would be much appreciated. I know not many people are capturing off tape any more – we have a huge library of old materials to be digitized – but if anyone is and has a similar set up, would you mind trying this out? I can post screen grabs if anyone is interested.

    Thanks
    Martin
