Ok, I am creating a simple effect for a school video,
it consists in breaking a wall in front of my actor.

So… I used the shatter effect, timed the animation, but now
I need to figure how to make this more realistic.
Doesn’t have to be perfect and as I know just a bit more
    than the basics.

I am hoping some of the users who are reading this post,
could give me any tips on how to improve this.

Here is a snapshot of my situation:

    Thanks anyway.

    A few tips:
Make the wall as it appears through the hole thicker- give it some depth.
If you want it to be a brick wall, have a second layer behind it with bricks that shatter.
Ad debris, dust, small pieces flying in, towards the camera.
    Use motion blur.
Use a different picture in the back, with the right perspective.

Try using 2 layers of SHATTER and one layer of PIXEL POLLY.

Set the size of one of the shatter layers to big chunks, one of the shatter layers to medium size fragments, and the PP layer to make a fine spray of dust.
