    I use Avid and have 16gb of ram. Should I change from system managed paging file to:
    minimum:16gb
    Maximum:32GB

    this is correct from what iv’e read. But there are a lot of mixed opinions. Also I’m running windows and avid off of a SSD and have HDD’s for everything else.

    Avid only requested that you tweak these settings when in 32-bit. Now that the application is 64-bit it does not need to be tweaked, according to Avid technical folks.

    The Avid application will not use more than 12GB of memory (Which is maxed out in Stereoscopic mode), the rest is overhead for the machine and 3rd party apps.
