    Hello,

I am new to AVID and am using it because I am dealing with HFR 3D footage and I understand that AVID is the best program to use in that regard.

    I just have a question.

I successfully imported an EDL from an edit I did in Adobe Premiere Pro. I have also created .mxf files of the clips I used in the Premiere Edit through Mistika. My timeline has all of the clips offline and I was wondering if there is a quick way to relink all of the files from the EDL with the .mxf files I created.

When you look at the master clips of the MXF files you brought in – what is the source ID being tracked on those? You will find that in either the TAPE or SOURCE FILE column. Then look at your EDL and make sure that it matches the names in other one of those columns. If so, highlight your sequence, highlight all those master clips, then do a relink, but in the dialog box, do a “relink to selected” and work the settings from there. I recently did this myself.
