  going from Premiere to Avid

  Hi,
  Was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to transfer a work flow from Premiere cs6 to AMC 6.5, especially if wr talking about a feature length documentary assembly.

  Can you? Sure. Straight cuts work best. And it’d dependent on the footage.

  Adobe Premiere Pro permits exporting of a AAF file…you then use AMA to reconnect to the footage.

  It…tends to be on the dicey side. Forget anything other than dissolves and simple audio. Titles and AE projects won’t come across either.
