  Avid and Computer freeze!

  .MTS Files

  PC – 8 gig ram – Intel Core I-7 3.4 ghtz – radeon HD 6570 Graphics Card 1GB
  downloading to local drive to make it faster 1TB and and 400 used.

  My Software gets hung up, continuing to enter activation codes, especially for the MPEG 2 – encoding – decoding. The system freezes.
  Sometimes it works sometimes it does not, I just have to keep entering the activation codes. Its very frustrating, is my camera, editing software, camera format and camera simply not compatible. Why do I always have to enter activation code?

  Thanks a million for reading and helping me from going to grey before my time.
