  Red workflow question

  Anybody have preferences or reasons for one method over the other?

  1.) AMA>sync>transcode(DNX36)>cut>conform
  2.) AMA>transode(DNX36)>sync>cut>conform

  These both really get to the same place, although personally I would prefer the second method for reasons I cannot really explain other than it seems cleaner to me that transcoding audio or not when it doesn’t need it, and how things link to each other, etc. Just seems cleaner to transcode picture, then sync to me – but I have done both with no problems.
