  Cheesy 70s flashback transition?

  Hello all,

  I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on creating a cheesy flashback transition. I can’t find any examples but |I hope you know what I mean. Where the screen goes all wavy and you’d expect to hear a harp in the background.

  Is this possible in within Avid or would I be better off going into after effects for this?

  There used to be a wave transition, but they got rid of it. You could always try the ripple…which looks like rings of water. There are a couple of different kinds in AVID FX.
