I’ve installed Avid Media Composer 6 onto my 2006 Mac Book Pro with no problems, but can’t seem to be able to install it onto my MacPro dual quad core that I bought last year. I have two 2T SATA internal drives and one 1T internal mounted on the machine and all of them have over 300 gigs free. But for some reason the installer won’t let me install on any of the drives. (Says that they don’t meet the requirements, but doesn’t say why.) Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be and why I didn’t have this problem with my laptop? I can’t seem to find anything online that’s of any help…

What OS is it running? It needs to be 10.7 Lion…at least.

It’s running on Snow Leopard, which I know isn’t ideal but the same version of Avid is running fine on my laptop which has much lower specs and an older version of Snow Leopard. It seems to be a problem with the hard drives, but I’m not sure what the issue could be as there is more than enough space and they are all SATA internal drives…
