  Transferring from 720p 50fps clips to 1080p 25fps PAL

  I am working on a project in the near future. The client has shot their footage on a Panasonic AG-HPX171E European model.

  90% of the footage is DVC Pro HD 1080p at 25fps (1440×1080) PAL. 
  10% of the footage is DVC Pro HD 720p at 50fps (960×720) PAL.
  The output deliverable is going to be HD 1920x1080p 29.97 or 59.94 NTSC

  I realize that I will need to transfer this at a post house once finished editing, from Pal to NTSC since I’ll be editing the project in PAL.
  My question is uprezzing the 720p at 50fps (960×720) PAL footage to 1080p at 25fps (1440×1080) PAL so all the footage is the same size and frame rate.

  Would it be correct to use MPEG Stream Clip to do uprez the 720p  50fps footage to 1080p 25fps?

  What is the best way to accomplish this.

  You may not need to do that. Just ingest the footage in projects that match their frame rate/size. Then open your 1080p project. Now, using the open bin command, open the bins of 720p footage and edit them into your timeline. Avid will apply a motion adapter which will handle the conversion.
