  Avid document export and ScriptSync

  Hello,

  I was wondering if there was a way to to export information from ScriptSync in an ALE or tab-delimited format so that in the document I can match scene – take – camera with the lines of dialogue covered. Does anyone know if this is possible and, if so, how to do it?

  There is no such functionality with ScriptSync and has no export capabilities. ScriptSync is really opening a flattened .text file and then an overlay of clips that syncs based on a line per line basis. That relationship is part of the clip, but nothing that can be repurposed for any database type function.
