  MC and Symphony

  Installed Symphony on same system as MC 6.01
  Both use a dongle.
  Symphony wont run with MC dongle attached.
  Anyone know a fix?

  Why would you need both on the same system?

  Symphony and MC are the same program. Symphony just has several features enabled (extra panels in the color corrector and universal mastering, if you have DX hardware), and a different splash screen.

  Both are on the same system temp.
  We have an intern using MC and requires the XDCAM gear.
  I havent checked if the Users/Projects transfer over.
  I just installed it but didnt bother to go over the app since.

  I guess I am just dense. Why does your assistant need MC? Just use Symphony…its the same program in every way (with some extras your assistant won’t use and won’t know are there.
