  Buying Laptop Compatible with avid media Composer 6

  Hi Everyone!

  I’m thinking of getting an HP 8760W i17-2820,17-2820Q 2.2 ,2.3 ghz 17 1920x 1080 laptop to go with avid media composer 6 software do you think this is the best option

  Just to be a Mac advocate…I’m using the latest MacBook Pro 15″ (non-retina) with Avid Symphony 6, and it’s blazing. Just over $2000 though..

  It’s great.

  I’d probably go with the newer 8570w but I understand the desire to have a larger 17″ monitor.

  Too bad the newer gen version (8770w) only uses AMD graphics. 🙁
