  New to Avid : Create Stereoscopic Clips

  If I import left and right .MOV clips with Alpha channel I cannot select S3D channel or change names in order to create a stereoscopic pair: they react as if write protected,- what am I missing? I can create a pair from two AVCHD clips.

  The clips seem to be locked because they contain an alpha channel. I’m new to Avid and don’t yet see how I can combine Left Graphic with RIght Graphic and then Left Matte with Right Matte: if I double-click the track in the timeline I see both elements but can’t divide the elements.
