    Hello hello,

we are still giving MC6 a test run, but there is a small little drag that we are having.
When we add clips ProRes into the Bins it is creating or transcoding the clips which halts MC6.
Is there way to prevent MC6 from doing this? We would prefer ProRes.

    Thanks

When you drag clips in mc will import them. Instead either right click in the bin to link via ama or link to ama volume. All your media will be instantly ready for editing.

For the record, if you get it setup right, it should fast import (copy and rewrap the ProRes as MXF Prores.) Otherwise, Jacob is right – you just want to Link and not import.
