Best subtitle app for the Mac is still zeitAnker Annotation Edit in my opinion:

Looks nice but undo seems erratic and the short-cuts don’t work when typing in text. Subbit may not be quite as slick but seems easier to get it working properly.

Real shame, it did look good.

    Ben,
Beside that, Subbits comes with great support (by me 🙂

Small warning, i learned last week about a TC bug with Avid generated QT’s.
Have worked that out, hope to put an update on my site later today.
    So watch out for that!

    Hi All,

I work for an online video company that works in FCP, and uses Annotation Edit for making subtitles. Semi-recently all subtitles have been showing up as color bars when they are made into XMLs and imported into FCP.
    Has anyone had this problem???

    Please help!
