  Quick Roto/Mask

  Hi,

  I’m a bit rusty with AFX. I’m trying to do a quick roto or sky mask for some handheld footage – swat the sky out for some storm clouds. The sky’s quite bright, cloudy with small amounts of definition. I’m trying to cut out a building with a complex shape. Any quick way of masking the sky without a Frame By frame solution?

  I’ve tried Mocha but its just far to shakey to track.

  Could you create a luma matte based on the sky?

  Yeah – i’ve been trying that, i’ve been playing with the Luma keys but its pullingout the information in the buildings even after a heavy grade!

  Really need somthing like the Roto Brush in CS5 – that would be ideal!
