  AVID Install problem! PLZ NEED Assistance!

  Hello

  I’m trying to install Avid Media Composer 5

  I have a dog that I opened, then opened “Avid Media Composer.mpkg” and it installs fine all the way to the last end!

  

  Ive had Avid MC 5 on my Lion OS X before, but had to restart my entire computer and give my hard drive a clean slate.

  When trying to open the package this time, it gets to the end and fails.

  Can anyone help???

  MC5 is not supported on Lion. MC 5.5.3.1 was the first version to run on 10.7.1, and MC6 now seems to run on 10.7.2.

  I had MC5 working on Lion before. I edited and exported for clients.

  You probably had it installed, then upgraded your OS to Lion. Again, none of that is supported. May work, may not. Likely not.
