  Capture Not Working – No Input Signal Present

  Hello,

  I have been trying to capture from a DigiBeta deck to Avid and every time I click on the “V” box (for video) on top of the capture window I get an error message saying “No Input Signal Present.” Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? I am running version 5.5.3 on a Mac, here are my system specs:

  Mac OS 10.6.8
  Mac Pro3,1
  FCP 7.0.3
  8 GB RAM
  AJA Kona Video Card
  Glyph “GT” External Hard Drives

  I tested out a capture on FCP to make sure everything is set up correctly and the video came through just fine. In the capture window with Avid I am getting audio but no video. One thing to note is I am running a trial version of Avid. Any ideas?

  Yeah. AJA Kona cards are not supported on Avid 5.5. Promised support for the Kona cards comes with Media Composer 6. The only AJA card that works with 5.5 is the IO Express
