  Stabilize not working in MC5.5 trial

  I am nearing the end of my MC trial. I’m sold- trimming heaven and color correction is very well done.

  However, in the beginning of the trial I was able to sucessfully stabilize clips in MC with the built in plug in. Now for some reason when I apply the stabilize effect it is nor working. Same test footage. handheld Mark II footage with a slight wobble. While the effect is changing the clip, it is not stabilizing it. That is, the clip is being zoomed & moved about but it is just as shakey. I have tried turning on & off all the parameters as well as trying to do a manual track (that’s a mess) with no success. I swear it was working fine earlier in the trial. Any thoughts?

  (stabilization is the one feature that FCP X does accomplish quite well, it just works)
