  Embedded time code in SDI output

  Hi,

  We just picked up a new pc Symphony Nitris DX (v5.5.1) and I’ve been looking through the Media Creation setting within the projects. Although the system can work with ancillary data, I’m trying to find a way for the system to embed sequence TC in the HD-SDI output.

  Our SRW deck sends TC over SDI and I can read the TC fine on our scope, but I need the Avid to output this way and have not been successful.

  Tried playing with the custom DID and SDID in the media creation tab to capture anc vitc in the hopes it would maintain on output as well as the console command embeddnxcc (kind of the same tactic) none of which have worked.
  There is a slot for ATC in VANC (DID60, SDID60) but even if this is maintained on input, the system does not show it on output/monitoring so my guess is that it is getting stripped or simply not able to output this data. Is this something I could patch to an M/D track on the timeline?

  Of course it may be operator error, but then again maybe not. Any help would be appreciated.
