  AVID Error

  When starting the playhead in the timeline on the head of a cut (audio or video) and hit play the following error pops up.

  Exception: PGLUE_RESTART_OUT_OF_RANGEFW

  Moving the playhead off the exact frame of the cut allows it to play through. Happens when extracting, lifting or adding an edit. Working with gruoped media all with the same rate but mixed codecs (HDV/DNx145). All the same 60i rate.

  Working on terrablock system. All editors working off the same drive (multi-write access) but different projects for each editor.

  Have you tried this locally to see if the problem persists? Can you try copying the footage (or some of it) to a single write volume, relinking, and seeing if that works?

  Multi-write volumes with Avid project sharing on Facilis can be a tricky thing.
