  Picture into picture

  Hi, I just hope that anyone can help me with the picture into picture effect. I was wondering how I can make the edges of the smaller “picture” to blur. Something like a cloud inside the whole image. Maybe silly but I have no clue how to get it done. New to Avid… Thanks so much in advance.

  You can feather the edges in the PIP effect, but actually creating something with a cloud shape needs to be done as a matte in a program like Photoshop first. Create matte and import into MC.
