  Drives for Avid Symphony Ds

  We’re looking at a major updgrade of our old Meridian Symphony, replacing with the Symphony DS. Being that we are a non-profit, trying to save $$$ on the drives. Our Avid folks are recommending:

  10TB Xtore StudioRAID RAID5-Protected Storage System (Avid’s OEM brand) 2X 5-Bay Desktop Tower Chassis with 5x1TB Enterprise-class SATA HDD in each tower,
  1X PCI-E RAID Controller Card, Cables, Software

  Any suggestions that meet Avid specs but may be a little cheaper would be great.
