  GETTING audio onto the timeline in AVID DVD by SONIC

  I have the new AVID MC 5, and with it came the new Sorenson Squeeze 6 and AVD DVD by SONIC.
  This may sound silly, but when I go to link up the accompanying .wav audio file from the MEDIA box to the timeline it rejects it because the tracks are ina S mode or Subtitle Track mode. Any idea how to get audio tracks (A- tracks) listed, up and working below in the Timeline work area in AVID SONIC DVD?
  Any magic button?
