  Avid Media Composer FX Problem

  When I use on V1 track a background from Digital Juice and on other tracks V2 or all others, and add a transition on say V2 media the entire V1 track background will spin or do whatever the transition is used on the V2 media. Can I some how lock or nest or something…to keep V1 from following the effect.
