  Digital hit effect

  Does anyone know how to create an effect in the avid that gives the illusion of a digital hit or glich? I have used the sapphire wipe/pixelate effect and have played with the tv damage effects, but I am not really getting what I am looking for.

  Try the JPEG Damage effect in Sapphire.

  scan lines works will and if just wanting a drop out, you can put that on a top layer and animatte your bar.
