  avid codec install problems

  Can anyone shed some light as to why when I try to install the latest codec pack (2.3) on my W7 Pro 64 system, I see the unpack window popup and then nothing. Then my system seems to hang and I can’t even start task manager.

  Turns out Panda Internet Security 2010 was causing the problem. Uninstalled and had no issues with avid codec install.
