  3D Editing – how to make married images 2d

  Working in a 3D project and trying to make a 2d QT to post a cut for director to view. So far all the QT’s i have tried keep coming out side x side. Any way to export just the left or right eye?

  The media is always both eyes within the frame. If you want one eye, you need to drop a DVE on the top track while showing both eyes to get to the one eye the way you want it in 2D – then output from there.

  been up all night editing, which DVE? are you talking a reformat effect?

  Ok – in case anybody else encounters this problem –

  I had to resize one of the sides to full frame and then do a video mixdown of all layers and THEN export

  The 3D Warp effect will work fine. Set it up to scale your leading eye appropriately and then save it as as a preset to the bin for future use.
