  • Full screen view in Avid Media Composer

Hi I am using Avid Media Composer 3.1.1.

Is there any full screen preview option while editing like FCP? Or must I have a 2nd external monitor to see full screen?

    Thanks for any assistance.

Just toggle to Full Screen mode. Check under Toolsets.

Control-shift-F will do it for you.

    Thanks for all the replies

However, Control-shift-F brings up the “Find Text” dialog box on my system. I also don’t have a full screen option under toolsets.

Is there a way to remap ctrl-shift-F back to full screen preview?

    Thanks!

You can map the fill screen preview to almost any key or key combination you want. Open keyboard settings and also open command palette. I’ve got my FSK mapped to the escape key so that it stands out…I use it for a quick reference to the output and then back to the edit.

    The KeyStroke is Command-Shift-F.
