I’m using AE CS4 and Avid MC 4.02.
I’m trying to render a simple animated title out of AE. In AE I’m using best settings changed to upper field and the DNxHD 1080 59.94 145TR output module. It’s my understanding that DNxHD supports an alpha but I don’t have the option for millions+.
The default setting for alpha channel is premultiplied. When I rendered and imported into avid the image was reversed so I reimported and chose invert alpha. It did not make any difference.

What settings am I supposed to be using?

    Thanks

Anytime I render out of AE I always use animation, (Lossless with alpha) and everything comes out fine. How about not using the avid settings and just go with the animation quality? Does that make a diff? Won’t avid just make a mxf versoin anyways?
