  Mixers that work with Media Composer automation?

  I’m looking for a decent mixer that works with AVID automation so I can record levels from the faders.

  Is there a list of supported mixers?

  Anybody know if the Mackie Onyx 1220i will work?

  I’m looking for mixers under $1,000.

  Any thoughts?

  AFAIK only the Yamaha 01V and 01V96 are supported. See the Help files for a definitive answer. The 01V can be had for 500 bucks (used), I’d think.

  The Yamaha 01V. I traded mine in for a little Mackie though. I can’t think of many uses for an automated mixer. I like to do everything within the Avid then just spit it out.
