Matrox MXO2 with Avid Media Composer 5 workflow ?

What do you mean workflow?
The MXO2 Mini works for monitoring ONLY, in SOME project types (50i/60i-based ones).
It’s not really part of your workflow, it is part of your monitoring setup.

Correct, only the MXO2 mini, but it works fine with 23.98 and PAL formats too. You monitor 720p 23.98 as 1080p 23.98, or even 720p 59.94.

Yes. And P2, and DNxHD, and 1:1…it is just an output card now. Whatever you have on your timeline, it will allow to monitor. There are a few settings it won’t do, like 720p 23.98, but working 1080p 23.98 allows it to work.
