  capturing HDV 1080i 24P MC5

  I have footage from Canon HV20. I have the camera for playback. I can control the camera but the video is grayed out–incompatible. The footage was shot at 1080i (HDV) but at the Canon 24 FP, which they call 24 progressive. 1) I’m in a job mixing multiple mxf formats (1080p at 24 and 720p/60.), do I need to capture this into a new project? 2) If so, then what settings do I capture at? Seems none of the options in the menu fit. 3) Will this import and natively intercut w/other job or do I have to do some sort or render to make it compatible?
