  I have to make MXF for broadcast

  Hi,

  I I have to make a mxf for broadcast and i have know idea how to do that. Can someone please help me?

  The file has to be: MXF 1080i50 XDCAM HD 422 Long GOP 50

  I work with:
  Windows Vista
  Avid MC 4.0.5

  Hope you can help me out.

  Export to XDcam en rip the exported file from the disk?

  Thanks for your reply, the label on a XDCAM disc says that 23GB approx. 43 min will fit. The episodes that i have to master are all more than 50 minutes. So i don’t think this will work, do you have any other suggestions?

  You can make a fake XDcam disk if you copy the contents of a freshly formatted XDcam disk onto a harddrive.
  (will be way faster anyways)

  Watch out for FAM mode, you don’t want a PROAV folder…
